Transavia Mayday
Anyone else hear a Transavia declare an emergency because of a suspicious package found on board earlier this evening?
They said it was a "level 3" which I presume is the same as a "red alert" in my company.
They diverted into Barcelona. I changed frequency shortly after.
Anyone any info?

Appologies if I'm deviating from the thread, but this reminds me of an incident I had a few years ago. An aircraft reported to me that they had a "level 5 disruptive passenger onboard, standby". I had no idea what they were talking about, but I prepared myself to divert them to the nearest airport. When I asked my manager and my manager's manager what that meant, they had no clue. Was it a passenger who drank too much and was abusing cabin crew or was it a psycopath forcing his/her way into the flight deck with a weapon? 5 mins later I called the crew and they reported ops normal, continued to destination. We had not and still have not been briefed on what these "levels" of disruption mean, any clarifaction welcome. Scary and confusing
