Virgin today announced that they intend to recruit 300 new staff by the end of the year.
Maybe the start of better times ahead, may not be for many flight crew but at least the numbers are going in the right direction.

The 300 jobs are for cabin crew and office staff, and will hopefully be filled by some of the 1200 laid off last October. No flight deck jobs are involved.
