They're to start to position to various places for modification.
A LOT example went from Chicago to Addid Ababa to be modified by the Ethiopian/Boeing team. The Qatar one at Heathrow is now back in Qatar. United has moved one to San Antonio for mod's also. I think Boeing are now test flying from Seattle again.

Apparently there are 3 QR 787's sat on the ramp of NDIA being fitted with the 'fix in a box'. QR will fly the first commercial flights (post grounding) once the re-fit is complete. Next week or shortly after.
