Notification of aerial activity at an unlicenced airfield maybe? If East Fortune were licenced, it could have an ATZ of 2nm radius from surface to 2000ft aal, so it's roughly the dimensions of an ATZ.

There is an airshow coming up at East Fortune in July. Perhaps it is something to do with that. Training or familiarisation kind of thing. The runway is now used as a Sunday market and is very beaten up so nothing can land or take off from there, certainly.

Airshow
"PUPILS from North Berwick High School and Ross High School in Tranent will take part in a series of unique scientific workshops at the National Museum of Flight at East Fortune, on Wednesday as part of an event designed to guide and inspire the engineers and scientists of the future.
Organised by National Museums Scotland and independent charity theSkylab, the event will feature a special series of workshops hosted by students, scientists and aviators and will culminate in a stunning flypast by a Jet Provost aircraft, enabling the pupils to see some of the principles they have been learning about in action in the air.
Tutors will include aviators, aerospace experts and lecturers in aero engineering and science from the University of Strathclyde, joined by some of their fourth year engineering students."
Edited to help anyone who might have missed the bit about the JP.

Does anyone else feel that 2000 feet is a tad low for aerobatics.
I think you'll find that "AIR DISPLAY/AEROBATICS" is standard NOTAM-speak and doesn't necessarily imply any sporty manouevres.
