1) So, what airline do you miss seeing? ..... LAKER AIRWAYS

2) What airline do you believe; if any, could be the next one to cease operations within the next coming months/years? .... SOMEWHAT IRRESPONSIBLE TO ASK BECAUSE "RUMOUR CONTROL" ALONE CAN PERSUADE THE FLYING PUBLIC NOT TO BOOK PUTTING AN OPERATOR OUT OF BUSINESS

LTU of the 80's with their beautiful L1011's! Great to look at, great to fly on and great to fly with!

I understand; thoughtful of you, and I never take anything personal here at this community

Calm your caps , you honestly have to understand my intentions are far from persuading that to happen. Secondly, the 600 thread "brief views" will doubtful have any influence to the 3-7 mentioned operators. However I do understand your concerns on the questions.

The Loss of Ansett ( Ansett Australia - Home ) is surely one of the saddest and most frustrating stories of the failure of an airline.

I miss BCal - both shorthaul LGW - GLA and longhaul to Dubai. Terrific cabin service.
Cooked brekkie + if you wanted them drinks on a 45 min flight!!

Who is next? Hard to say - so many are struggling. Unfortunately the good die young.

Dubaian, that's nothing! BMA did a full English breakfast (one class layout) BHX-LHR on a DC-9, about 20 mins flight time! Those were the days

....would miss soon?

The answer, it would appear, is ORBEST Airlines (Spain).
