Aviation slang
Hello there.
To start with, I'm not a pilot, but I'm in the process of collecting money to get the first PPL(A) licence. Anyway, I'm not going to ask any questions regarding it, right now I would love to get some examples of civil aviation slang (UK/USA) as I am to write an article comparing 2 versions of that slang (Polish and English)(decided to make a topic here instead of doing it in Jet Blast section as it's full of spam). I gathered a nice amount of examples in Polish language but there's no chance I can do that with English without doing it online.
I am going to give a list of 'examples' that I would love to be translated into slang.
So, here we go: (I really hope to get an answer from professional pilots)
*flight attendant in a medium/'old' age
*those who clean the aircraft inside,
*cockpit crew(?), talking about a captain and first officer,
*meal for the captain and second meal for a second pilot,
*first officer/second pilot
*Boeing 767 (it's called big ben here)
*flight attendant/cabin crew
*a bag that pilots take when piloting Embraer 145 as there is usually no place for a normal bag.
*Embraer 145
*crew bus
*Embraer 175
*mechanics
*Female chief purser
*jump seat
*a person who provides towels, pillows, air fresheners etc.
*a room for cabin crew
*newspapers etc given to business class members
*Boeing 737-500 (called kilo here)
*Boeing 737-400 (lima)
*Boeing 737-600 (little ben here)
*tray for welcome drinks etc
*welcome drinks
*flight coordinator
*passenger (I've heard something like self-loading cargo)
*ATR aircrafts
*aircraft/plane
*a bag used by people who feel sick during the flight
*equipment like fire extinguisher, masks, oxygen bottles etc
*a place where your company is located, offices etc. (it's called alcatraz among PL LOT eployees)
*set of drinks, snacks that's given to pilots after the take off
*lav truck
*taxi
*unattended minor
*a message from the captain to passengers before taking off and after landing
* 'follow me' car
That would be all, thanks in advance.

The English-speaking world hasn't managed to come up with anything as witty as those.
