Spectators Balcony (Spotters Corner) If you're not a professional pilot but want to discuss issues about the job, this is the best place to loiter. You won't be moved on by 'security' and there'll be plenty of experts to answer any questions.

I wonder (from the colour) if that Optica is the prototype G-BGMW in which Angus McVitie flew me at it's first Farnborough show (3rd Sept 1980). Actually I did most of the flying, Angus did the takeoff and handed over to me at about 500ft. We went down towards Farnham and reduced speed to 'loiter' mode, then Angus told me to take us back and I did the landing! Great fun, it handled very similar to a Sedburgh/T21b at low speed.
