Southwest Airlines 737-700 - Preflight Checks

Be interesting to read the perceived CRM wisdom behind this approach to preflight safety. All thoughts as ever welcome.

stator vane, were those questions (ahem) somewhat tongue in cheek or serious?

One presumes the crew were aware they were being filmed?

At this rate just owning a camera will be illegal.

Whilst I agree the flight deck is arguably a private place this other youtube video is interesting:-

Great video
Brings back happy memories - nothing like watching a professional crew doing their bits.

What the Captain needed to get his job done better was a tray table, less switches to turn on and off and a bigger cockpit!

did you make the video yourself?

did you ask the captain for permission to broadcast it on an open forum?

you really should remove this until you get their clear permission.
1.No!
2.No!
3. I think the Captain gave his consent by allowing the 'camera man' on his flight deck!
