A neat illustration of just how well organised and skilled the Approach, Director and Tower team are at LHR

A lot more impressive than x arrivals per hour stats

brilliant - thank you. I was reading an article in the Sunday Times recently which said that the observation platform in the Shard skyscaper will open next February - I would imagine this would make a good spotting venue when aircraft are landing to the west ?
