Northern lights 8th October
Twenty percent chance of G1 class storm hitting northern latitudes late on the 8th... possible Aurora also on the 9th. Check through your mobile phone camera...the energised protons will be clearly visible if your radiation dose is going well above the level mentioned in your Part A!

Looks like the mods consider a forecast of getting zapped by 40 times your normal radiation dose / GPS degradation etc not to be "News" but more of interest to spotters. Thought this more of a news worthy event than some of the tosh that appears in the "Rumours and News" forum
The ways of the site are a mystery at times, but perhaps consider moving this to the Medical&Health or Rumours and News. Oh....Oh well, at least those up north will get something to spot in the sky
