Cost savings

"To: All Staff
From: Company accounts department

In an effort to save money, all staff passengering on company flights are requested to decline the sweets offered by the cabin crew on take off and landing. Estimating one return trip per staff member per week, an amortized cost of 10p per sweet, and approximately 10000 employees, this cost saving measure has the potential to save us £2000 a week, or £100000 per year.

This money can be ploughed back into the company accounts department, to allow us to develop more cost saving measures."
