I'm so sorry for the lamen title but I honestly didn't know what else to put!

It's been bugging my since I had my trial lesson, it was a grob g115 (not sure if that makes any difference) but there was a thing the instructor pulled in and out every now and again. I'm sure the word calib something comes to mind from when we did the pre flight checks.

Everything else I pretty much understood, didn't really look at the instruments much, but I got the general gist of the dials etc.

I've tried googling but couldn't really find the right search term I'm really curious as to what it actually does!?
I should add, as I recall it was to the right of the flaps, little bit further up.

Anyway, anyone who can help much appreciated!
