Ryanair Emergency divert to Hahn

Just seen a 7700 sqawk and followed the Ryanair stansted - palermo flight do a rapid decent and divert into Frankfurt Hahn. No further info as yet. Assumed it landed ok as radar coverage was lost at 2400' and about 10 miles out.

It doesn't only happen to ryanair....

Another 7700 squawk out of MAN around 13000 feet, and a rapid return to MAN.

So are we going to be entertained every time Ryanair have some sort of incident? Are we going to be entertained every time there is a fuel shortage? If so then I must report I crashed my £20 remote control chopper the other day because of a power failure. However it didn't do any lasting damage!

Are you sure it was a power failure and not pilot fatigue? Seems similar to AF447 to me...
