UAE218 - LA to Dubai - Divert to Glasgow at 03:40UTC
Just out of nosy curiosity....

Flight UAE218 from Los Angeles to Dubai on the 19th July squawked 7700 and diverted to Glasgow at approx 03:40UTC this morning.

I'm just a sad plane spotter here in WA but my little phone app flagged it up and Glasgow is my home town.

Can anyone shed any light ?

Local reports say a passenger had passed away onboard.

Latest reports suggest that he is alive and well . He had suffered an allergic reaction to medication he had taken on board !
