RAF Flying at the weekend?
SWMBO saw a "lot" of aeroplanes travelling West to East in the vicinity of Rhyl [N.Wales] around 1145 local on Saturday 7/7/12 and the same on Sunday 8/7/12 Seems there were 8 [ish] a/c on sat and 12 [ish] on sunday. Any ideas please
Lots of Hawks about (at least 27) for the E II R flypast at RIAT on Saturday and Sunday, probably something to do with that.
I understand Saturday's flypast was binned due enroute wx, but Sunday's went ahead and I was there to see it. Very splendid it was too

useful tip
Sometimes you can get useful information by reading NOTAMS.....available on the ais.org website. If you're having a look on there for the first time suggest just looking at the 24 hour period to get a taste. Requires a simple login. rgds to all.
