Just heard GUA airport closed due to aircraft accident . Any details?
(GUA= GuatemalaCity, Guatemala)

That link looks like an authoritative source...not. Reports the flight as being LHR to Istanbul, and had an accident in Guatemala. And we wonder why the Daily Wail manages to get things so wrong!

What have you been sniffing tonight Agaricus? The LHR-IST incident is the third item down in that link. The top item is the one refering to this Convair incident.

Nothing buddy, they've changed it since last night when the origin and destination were as I said. Now they are blank. Not exactly something I could make up, is it?
