It was quite quiet as it overflew Mt Belzoni.
Both times.

Thumbs up

It did the same at MAN just before it landed after its flight, a low fiypast along 05L with a wing wobble & the gear lowered, the tower had it stopped infront of the viewing park before take-off & after landing so photos could be taken, made for a great day

That Picture is from the Airport pub (The end that was'nt expected to see much action)
The Aviation viewing park at the other end of the runway was substantially busier!

By no means 10,000 but certainly a couple of hundred turned up at the AVP to see it perform

Any idea where this is or if it's departed from Manchester yet? It's due into Gatwick at 1050 apparently (not sure if that's UTC or BST) but can't find it on FR24.

That fly-by at LTN must have felt like the end of Bullseye to the Monarch staff there "look at what you could have won" they all said to themselves, then shuffled back inside to ponder another tech A300

So, I gather it's due to fly from Gatwick to Heathrow today - any ideas on times please?

If the weather plays ball I should get a view from the office...

Cheers

It left LGW about 30 mins ago-I managed to get a glimpse of it as it went behind the house-if you put its BOE787 in radar24 it has gone out on a jolly and didnt go direct to LHR-it has gone along south coast and now heading north of London!

Looks like she is airborne out of LGW on a tour of SE England - track on FR24 shows her routing out to Dover area, then SW along Kent/Sussex coast, then N back over LGW at FL170, and currently (0910 local) heading W over Berkshire, still at FL170.....so who knows when she'll land at Heathrow!

Edit: Beat me to to it Charley, now 0911 over Oxford area.

Edit 2!: 0934 local - just shot the ILS at East Mids by the looks and now overflying RR Derby at 2800ft.

Thanks guys - down to 4000 north of Brum right now, will keep an eye on him - about 7.8 oktas of lowish showery cloud in Croydon, so spotting him when he eventually joins the approach may be a problem!
