New EasyJet Livery

Hello. A new livery for EasyJet painted on G-EZEZ. More of a revised livery. The reg has been moved near the tail and the .com has been removed. Decided to post it here as if i posted it on the Easyjet page it will get very spotty.

What do you think?

Apparently this isn't their 'new' livery but will have a 'special' livery painted onto it shortly. Not sure what for.

Would be rather unusual for a LCC to drop the .com!

I'm aware of an Easyjet aircraft having some "?stuff?" added next week. I've seen the drawings but it would be unprofessional for me to comment further.

..but you're loving your moment in the spotlight nonetheless.

I had heard that this a/c was knocking about in this livery and just thought that it was some livery tweak but would have been surprised if the .com would have been dropped even if it does fit in with Carolyn McCall taking the airline a bit more upmarket still.

No, not really. Just keeping my cards close to my chest as I can't remember if this is the same aircraft reg I saw in an email last week. Old age

I can't see that the .com adds any value or benefit. The brand is so well known that anyone with half a brain would know to add .com or .co.uk (which redirects to .com), and anyone who didn't would simply Google it.

I saw an EZY a/c the other day somewhere, I think it was at EDI or LPL, and remembered thinking it looked slightly different for some reason, that may have been the one.

one of the comments in the link says it's a one-off to commemorate some anniversary of the Brandenburg gate, and that the decal or whatever will be applied shortly...

edit: just googled an image, it's got willy brandt's face on the back and Berlin International Airport titles kind of where the .com used to be

Well I guess we can bring this topic back up. Here is the new Proposed EasyJet Livery:

G-EZUA is the first to carry it:

I personally don't mind it but billboard titles will be more awesome

I will do same what I have done with Monarch, Thomson and Thomas Cook. Any new registrations which get the new livery will be posted here

Better res shot of UA here... I can't say I like it. It's got the feel of a leased aircraft that's just had the minimum livery applied.

I agree. It seems like a lacklustre attempt, possibly the blandest new scheme I've seen in recent times.

The orange is closer to a shade of 'Heinz Cream of Tomato soup'

All that is required is a little patience.

For those that havent seen, this is actually it in full:

Both proposals look horrendous in my opinion. Much worse than the current one. I'd love to know who they paid to design those...

According to Twitter, EZ employees have selected Option 1 from above.

I absolutely despair.
