No EK A380 At MAN Today

Just seen on TAS MAN Reports that a 777 replaced the A380 today.

Is this likely to happen again, will EK be rotating their aircraft and have the 777 do the lunchtime run more often?

Hope so then I can do cycle run up and see it.

Or was this a one off I missed

Thanks.

I think that has more to do wih the "cracks of the wing" they have found in some a 380 or they had a lite load.

Sounds logical but hope more 777s do that run as its awkward to get up to MAN later.

I believe the 777-300ER will be operating until at least Tuesday. It's because some of the A380s are being checked for cracks.

Mmmmmm NOT

Darn Airbus came in today running late and with an impressive short turn to final.

But still A380 and not my lovely 777

Boohoo

Oh well maybe next week, not that I'll get up to see it probably

No daylight arrival of a EK 777 at the moment though... A330 in the am, and evening 777 arrives in the dark until the days get longer.
