BEST SPOTTING HOTEL -GENEVA COINTRIN
Hi folks,
will have to go to Geneva soon. Have been before but this time i,ll have a bit of time. Just wondered if somebody could let me know the best hotel for seeing the planes? Also any good spots or bars etc that are good for viewing? I assume the airport viewing deck is no longer available?
Thanks in advance. Any info and tips would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks mate. Already found those and have sent email to that society. Hopefully someone who is on here has actually been there and help me.
Much appreciated though.

GVA Airport Restaurant
Hello Leeds Approach.
There is a restaurant in the aiport called 'Altitude'. There is a lift there from (I think) the departure area. The view across the gates to the runway is excelent. In the restaurant, you can sit at a table and have a coffee or beer, say at 11.00, and have a club sandwich anytime after that, without being harassed by the pleasant staff. Easy to spend three hours in comfort. Super place. Happy viewing! AdD

Can’t remember the name (fat lot of good, I know) but one place I stayed had a gym which looked out over the touchdown point about 700m away. Watching the arrivals was a good way of putting up with the drudgery of the rowing machine.
Suspect it was the Crowne Plaza. Seems to be in the right place, according to Michelin.
