No different to Delta's fleet which at one point comprised of 4 completely different liveries.
It happens when transitioning from one livery to another.

Delta? with a fleet of 700 I'm not surprised.
However you surely cannot compare the two. I understand the logistics of hangar inputs etc etc perfectly fine, its the fiddling about, without addressing the real (non livery related) problems that gets my goat

And what would the real issue be then, if not livery related?

I guess with Delta it was a complete livery change & because the fleet was so big & the repaints wasn't as quick as it could be that's why there were a few around. Pretty sure there wasn't 4 at one time though? Can't really count Song as a Delta livery.

Getting back to Monarch, they just seem to be tweaking & tweaking the same basic livery really. Different titling, different web addresses, wrong colours, slogans, no slogans. Love the final?? livery (when the horrid slogan titles are removed) but why go around the houses to get there?!

Liveryman, rather than take this thread off piste, head over to the Monarch thread in AAR and have a read. Disregard the spotters and trolls.

Going off the subject of decals for a moment...
Having just been on Man Air Departures I noticed there's 2 ZB's to SSH within 30 mins of each other, the 684 @ 0900 & the 556 @ 0930. The 684 is an AB6, I'm no expert but wouldn't it have been easier from a business point of view to combine these flights rather than operate 2 scheds so close together or is there a greater load of pax travelling to egypt than what one AB6 can accomodate?

Why do you need to go off topic when you have already posted your question on Monarch thread ????

The Monarch livery thread was created because people were moaning about how much time & space the livery discussion was taking up in the Monarch thread.

So now we have the Monarch livery thread, please take your non Monarch livery discussion elsewhere...... go on... away with you....close the door behind you!

Well as I'm here in this thread I'll just add my two peneth & say I think the new livery looks bloody awful & in my opinion (yes I am old enough & allowed to have one before anybody moans about that too) it makes Monarch look cheap & tacky, I don't see why they had to change it, afterall a new livery isn't going to attract anymore custom. New decals gets a big thumbs down from me!

The Fly Your Way Every Day is to be removed though. When I dont know. G-OZBH i think is the only one which doesnt have the Fly Your Way Every Day but that is in the old scheme with decals. All other planes which remain to come out now though will not have the Fly Your Way Every Day applied. Think there is 11 more still to get them (two of which are currently in hangars)

and so the confusion continues, someone posts a picture of the 'new scheme' - except its not the new scheme, its the old new scheme. The new new scheme as also been introduced, and the new new new scheme was rolled out but was felt to be too pink, so that was painted back in the new new scheme, meanwhile some aircraft are in the old scheme, and some in the old old scheme.

meanwhile the airline still doesnt have a leader and a pension deficit that would bankrupt most third world countries.

carry on
