Summat up with the Beast from the East?

I noticed that EK17 made three approaches to MAN over east Manchester this morning. Probably something and nothing, but anyone know what happened?

Emergency helicopter was operating about a mile from 23R approach track, obviously took longer than expected to clear the area.
