Nothing much spectacular about this one but the drop into Ascension Island (Widawake) is one I enjoyed. I am not flight crew but have spent many an hour in the jump seat of the VC10 flying into there. It never seems to amaze me that after some 8 hours of flying you can drop down when you feel like it, (no one else around in the middle of nowhere), and are lined up exactly on the centre line, aimed inbetween two mountains, on a dot in the vast South Atlantic.
