Bravo, well done!
3 cheers to the crew for a job well done!
Holidaymakers on a flight from Ibiza to Manchester watched in horror as flames shot from one of the plane's engines and they heard repetitive backfiring noises.
The incident occurred on a Jet2 flight on Thursday, the Daily Mail reports. The Boeing 738 was carrying 186 people out of the party-island in Spain.
The engine problem happened shortly after the 11.39am take-off.
Passenger Keyleigh Rickett, from England, says despite being a frequent flier, she was "terrified".
"I cannot begin to describe how scary it was to hear those bangs and for the people on the right hand side of the plane to see the fire and smoke," she says.
The pilots shut the engine down and made an emergency landing in Palma, Majorca, 77 minutes after take-off.
One British holidaymaker was by the pool of an Ibiza hotel when the plane flew over.
"It sounded like fireworks until I realised it was a plane and the engine was on fire," he said.
Ms Rickett says the Jet2 employees were "calm and professional" during the ordeal.
Those suffering panic attacks were treated upon landing at Palma.
Passengers waited eight hours for another aircraft to arrive to take them to Manchester, she says.
People on the ground captured footage of the plane with its engine on fire.
Take a look.
