Spifire Sighting.
I've just (19.00 hrs) had a wonderful treat! I live in Sheffield, and a Spitfire has just appeared from behind the trees across the schoolyard from my house. It was in a vertically banked right hand turn, and disappeared as fast as it had appeared. I got outside as fast as poss., to see it in a shallow-ish climb northwards, then it turned onto a westerly heading, out of my sight, but I could still hear it round and about for about another five minutes before it went away.
It was a treat to see and hear, albeit very briefly. Has anyone any info as to who, what, where etc. please?
