comic strip

hey guys

I am wondering if you can help me.

long time ago I saw a comic strip of a B52 and a F16 flying side by side. F16 pilot radios the B52 guys sayin anything you can do I can do better, only response from the B52 is shut down of one of its engines..

I would be grateful if someone could help me with that.

thanks in advance

I was told this many years ago (1984 ?) in Hong Kong by a Cathay pilot. This was at an air display on the island and involved Cathay 747 and Tomcats from a US carrier and Australian / English crew on the 747 and it was not one engine but 2, which would have obviously caused the Tomcat some problems. Was told US pilots did not think it as funny as 3 men in the 747 did !.

The B-52 has spawned a number of jokes... like the fighter jet told to extend his approach as the B-52 ahead had an engine out... "Oh, not another 7-engined approach"!

I think the cartoonist's name was Bob Stevens....
I remember the cartoon as being a B-52 and an F-4,
but I could well be wrong....
