Iron Maiden 757 at Aberdeen today?
Hi All,
While stuck at the E1 hold waiting to get out in my trusty C172 at Aberdeen today (about 1330), I was pleasantly surprised to see Iron Maiden's 757 land in front of me.
I thought they must be playing during this week, but they're not here officially until July - which is good because it means I've not forgotten to go!
Anyone know what it was in for? Just a recce/press/passing through en-route to somewhere else?
Cheers,
Slopey

according to Astreaus ed force one is on short term lease and was rushed back into service after iron maidens world tour to cover for another aircraft that was operating for thomson thats tech. so when that aircrafts back 'ed force one' will go into the paintshop and return to white. so may not be around much longer.

Flew out to Palma on 'Ed' on the 3rd and back on the 10th May. Hope Iron Maiden had more leg room than I did.
Didnt get a photo at Edinburgh, but did at Palma, through drool and finger coverd windows
Taxiing in to gate 18
