Air to air photos....high flying jets.

When I see 2 high flying jets flying very close to each other on similar tracks with long con trails stretching for miles sometimes, I cant help feeling what a fantastic sight the pilots must have of each other, maybe passing with only 1000ft between them vertically, must be very impressive to experiance at 35,000ft

I very really see photos of such mid air encounters with aircraft sporting con trails....I wonder if anybody can point me in the right direction to view these type of photos.

Nick.

Thought I'd add my two pennyworth for a couple of aircraft contrailing their way across the sky, the like of which you'll never see again.

They are not new as I've posted them here on PPRuNe before.

Contrailing opposite direction A380. Very impressive.

Posted by YouTube User 'SuredT' who is a KLM captain.
Plenty more on his channel, including a landing at St. Maarten.

It is interesting to see that the vortex of the inner engines soon disappear, contrary to those of the outer engines. Have notived it on this shot as well:

I think after looking at the youtube video in the post prior to yours....that the wingtip votex cures the out over the inner forming one.
