BMI possibly cancelling GLA - LHR Route

Ive just seen on the BBC that BMI are considering cancelling the Glasgow to London Heathrow route. This will leave BA as the only major carrier on this route.

Can anyone provide more info on this and if this is going to happen? I fly BMI alot to LHR and the flights are always busy however I cant understand how they can be losing £1M per month!???
