A flying German train (i.e. B737)
A new Tuifly logojet was rolled out at the Maastricht Aviation Aircraft Services (MAAS) paint facility today! Wearing a German high speed train livery (Deutsch Bahn ICE), pretty cool!

A regional train livery is expected to be completed next week.

And not to forget that DB also have certain trains with Lufthansa flight numbers that run between Frankfurt and Dusseldorf and Cologne. I guess that the seamless linking of transport options is the name of the game.

Air France are said to be in the advanced stage of planning to run trains from Paris to London and return from 2012.
If you can't beat 'em join 'em seems to be the thinking.

If the BD every operated planes, that is surely the livery they would choose - one of the best 737 liveries I have seen!
Can't imagine an RB scheme would be quite so good - too much red for my liking - and not a particularly pleasant shade of red at that!
When the DB start services to St Pancras it'll make the place look more interesting. if the likes of Thalys started from Brussels could make train photography a more intersting hobby!

Indeed they do, they have a large depot just down the road from here. The locomotives are not however painted in the DB Cargo colous - which are that revolting vermillion red - same as on the RB.

The ICE scheme is much more attractive that the general DB colours - I didn't even notice the yellow engines and winglets. On a second look I agree!
