EGPH - A319 Today
While doing a bit of boat maintenance at Granton I noticed a 319 very high on the approach then orbiting Edinburgh. It looked like it could have been a missed approach but continued to circle in a holding pattern for a good number of orbits before eventually landing. Looked like it could have been BA( possibly SH8? - LHR-EDI) but I missed its final approach and therefore didn't get a great view. Other aircraft were landing ( Flybe Q400) and FR737 - 800. This was about 1430 local. Any info?

Thanks. I was just curious and v. pleased to hear that the problem was resolved uneventfully.
I assumed that something was not right and didn't have a radio (with the EGPH frequencies handy.
