Trainers at airshows
Is it me or is there anyone else out there who when they go to a airshow and see a single seater (e.g. Spitfire) on the list of participants doesn't like it as much if they see a two-seater (trainer)?

Mmmm, Last year at the Rhyl Airshow [Free BTW] the BBMF did their usual sterling display, however, the "Dragon" spitfire,(a two seater) [based in North Wales] was rather more "exuberant".Why? I dunnow.
This year there was a "Hunter" substitute... a Single seater, which imho stole the show...
it was a SPaD

Chiglet. Welsh Spit is more exuberant in it's flying simply because it is privately owned, therefore the owner can fly it to his personal limits. BBMF have very strict rules as to 'g' loading, revs and speed limitations, restricted aeros etc. to prolong their life.
