Lanzarote - 11th and 18th November

I am trying to tie up some logs for Arrecife for Thurdsay 11th and 18th November, would anybody know any of the alpha numeric callsigns used by Thomas Cook, Thomson , Easy Jet and Ryanair on flights into / out of the Island so that I can input into ACARS ?

Also, when I arrived on Thursday 11th November, there was a Monarch B757 on the ground (I think it was MONJ or MONK, not sure) I am not aware that there should have been a scheduled Monarch flight on the ground (I thought ZB 622 from Manchester that I was on was the first arrival) and I was wondering if anybody could shed any further light on why it was there ?

Many thanks in advance fr any replies.

Might have been due to tech issues, l think that ACE has a night closure.
It would not have been "NK", as a/c is on a heavy maintenance check at MAN.

Not sure about any of the above info you need, but we must have been feet apart
I was there from 13-18 flew with FR from STN and enjoyed many hours at the end
of the Runway it was my first time .

Daz211 -

We probably were literally feet apart, the check in for the Ryanair Stansted flight on the 18th November was right at the side of the Monarch Manchester queue. Out of interest, do you know the reg of the aircraft you returned on ?

Have never made it down the runway end on my 2 visits to Lanzarote, always my intention but with a young family other things always get in the way - maybe next year - that beach to the right of the runway does look extremely close !!!!

With reference the Monarch B757, if it was G-MONJ, ACARS does not give anything after 10/11 until 15/11. There was certainly no B757 departure on the 18th around the same time, although there are no planned (at least I think not ?) departures on Wednesday so not sure if a delayed tec flight is the answer ?

Dave,

hope you had a nice holiday. Two things.

1. If you can post the flight numbers that you want alpha/numeric for I should be able to help. I keep a very long list that I have built up to tie these up with flight number/call sign.

2. I spent an extended holiday in Lanzorote at Easter thanks to the Icelandic volcano. We ended up staying right at the end of the runway so me and my 8 year old son spent many a happy hours playing in the sea/sand watching the few planes that were coming and going. It certainly kept my son and me happy whilst my daughter and wife lazed by the pool at the hotel. Hopefully you children will be old enough to enjoy the beach and you can watch the planes if you get back.

Cheers, Andy S (sitting watching the snow build up outside)

Second thoughts, if you want to PM me I will send a list of all the ACE flights I have in Word or PDF.
