BA 777 Bird Strike KJFK

Just heard my flight home to Blighty tonight is two hours delayed due to aircraft change following a bird strike on the incoming flight (presumably BA 179 EGLL-KFJK). Another stray goose perhaps. Any news on the state of the aircraft?

This will surely end up in the Bird Watcher thread, especially if they were on the endangered species list. Be really interesting if it becomes known whether they were transporting "cargo" from Yemen or Ethiopia.
