Saa 747 Landing On Rural Strip
I've been in hospital long-term, but recall reading a lengthy report on PpRune a couple of years ago or more from the SAA 747 captain who flew the landing at a small rural airstrip which was to be the aircraft's final home following 'retirement'. Does anyone recall seeing it and is able to point me in the right direction to read it again. Thanks

It was ZS-SPC (747SP) landing at Rand for the SAA museum there:

SAA 747 Lebombo & Maluti
See: Welcome to The SAA Museum Society and search on AvCom - Your Aviation Community
They are at the Rand Airport (FAGM) which is about 5 miles ESE of Johannesburg and near Johannesburg's Oliver Tambo International Airport.
I was there to see the Lebombo land ... and then I left SA for good.
