Stanollie.. G-arounds are a way of life. Nothing untoward usually, nothing scary and they happen probably hundreds of times throughout the day around the world. That's why PPruNe users don't see them as newsworthy.. It could well have been a training flight - even airliners do touch-and-goes sometimes.

I always though PPRuNe was for professional pilots not a forum for inane questions by anoraks!

Blimey, give the guy a break you lot. A reasonable question has been asked with no histrionics. It was asked in Spectators Balcony which is the correct forum for such questions and you get all high and mighty.
How sad.

An airline professional for several years? Wot, in Peterborough and/or Margate, no 'professional' airlines based in those locations!
And no aviation 'professional' would make such a hoo-ha about a jet flying at an unusual angle, whatever an unusual angle is, without even being able to identify the type of airliner it was!
Presuming it was a go around, at such a 'quiet' airfield they could have been crew training, just enjoying themselves etc. etc. etc. and what is so special about a go around, does one post here each and every time they come across a red traffic light or wait for other traffic at a roundabout?

This forum is called Spotters Balcony exactly for us anoraks who are if not completely clueless, then not as knowledgeable as professional pilots.
Or even those who work in the aviation industry.
So you will get questions about go arounds, aborted takeoffs and why Lufthansa dont fly the 737-500 into MAN.
There are forums I'm sure for "experts" but we dont go there!
