VC10
I spotted a RAF VC10 landing at Luqa Malta around lunchtime yesterday Saturday 9th October.Has anyone got any thoughts why it was landing in Malta. I have trawlled the Web Sites but cannot find out why. Cheers Easyprop

It was bringing back troops to Exeter on Friday, what a noisy thing! Took up two stands so was quite a nice sight at an airport that is normally dominated by Q400s

Thanks Cloud1. We were just leaving the Malta Air Museum based on the old RAF Base at TA'QALI when I spotted her on long final for 13 at Luqa, quite a sight.

You must have getting very wet then I was boarding around 1100 just as the heavens opened. Shame I missed the VC10 though.

We arrived Wednesday & up to Saturday was good. I have never seen rain like it in Malta, but it did clear during the afternoon.
