Thomsonfly Emergency Landing At MAN Today

A Thomsonfly glided into an emergency landing on Runway 2 today and Fire Officers were checking the undercarriage before towing it very slowly back to the terminal.

Does anyone know the cause? Wasnt very dramatic but would be interested to know.

Cheers

Glided? Do you mean it had all engines out?

Oops boobied there!

No didnt mean that, meant just it landed gracefully, not totally sure what condition its engines were in but it landed under power.

Sorry for the misunderstanding Heathrow.

That is a miss-spelling...it's "Chimbly"
The Last R/w2 was 10/28, if you want to be pedantic, They used to park F16s , Tornados' and Vulcans there [for the Barton Air Show] Ahhh happy days...
