Murcia San Javier

I know that it is a very long shot but does anybody know what 4 engined propellor driven aircraft flew from above airport on Sunday 30th May heading north ? Described as narrow/slim fuselage by non - aviation persons so probably not a C130. Unfortunately I was inspecting the inside of my eyelids laying on the beach at the time and the other 3 people did not wake me !!

I saw it, too, from a garden in Torre de la Horadada, but didn't recognise it. I'm sure it wasn't turbine powered. Assumed it was something to do with the Spanish Air Force, who also use MJV.

I didn't see it as I'm in the sunny UK but maybe it was a Lockheed P-3B Orion of the Spanish Air Force.

now i though that MJV was an airforce base, of which civilian airliners are sometimes permitted to use...........

Don't forget there is an airshow there today. 10am - 2pm. Not as big as 06 but The Spanish Aerobatic Team and The Italian Tricolours plus helicopter aeros, parachuting eurofighter etc.
