Where Oh Where Thou Thomsonfly?

Today at a very busy MAN AVP around 14:10 a whole horde of aircraft including Emirates 777-300ER & Thomsonfly 767-300 taxied past us down to the Mobberley end (not guessing which runway to take off over Shadowmoss.

The Emirates took off fairly quickly but everything else about half a dozen or so took off in front of the Thomsonfly which was out of sight and for an hour it didnt reappear.

We headed off then and a large Thomsonfly did take off at 15:38.

Was that the original Thomsonfly and was there a technical fault which held it up or what happened to it?

We're pretty positive it didnt take off while we were there and Im sure the passengers wouldnt have been too happy at being stuck down that end for an hour.

Can anyone shed any light on it?

Cheers
