Belfast International Airport Spotters

London LutonEZY195 20:10
Flight Operating Into Belfast International
(info as per BHD departures board)

Has anyone seen the departures board at BHD or BFS, Easyjet LTN BHD this evening operating into BFS. Does anyone know why this is?

I dont mind what way the belfast threads are, however the worst rumor maker alive is responsible for it

David, not sure who its being chartered on behalf of, 149 onboard flight number ezy685. Saturdays only so far I think.

Ei-bud, reason is posted on page 4, realistically it will be 0030. At the minute bfs will be 1 aircraft down for morning schedule

Is the tech A/C at BHD or LTN, just wondering who provides EZY maintenance at BHD

Will SR have to take a trip down the M2.

Handling Agents

Apologies if someone has already asked this question but please could someone tell me what handing agents are currently at BFS and what airlines do they handle?

A good friend (also ex Royal Observer Corp) spotted a Nimrod over East Antrim on Tuesday...any ideas what it was doing in the area?

Thanks in advance...

not sure what it was doing i never noticed it on the ground, was just after 1500 i think, basically turned around and it was over 25... there was also a fast moving jet that flew over BFS round 2000, not sure what it was though

Nimrod was doing a quick NDB approach and back to its base. Just a little bit of training.

yet more disappearing posts, even though theres nothing secretive in them! (fair enough 1 post referring to a c17 might have been)

the nimrod was visable to anyone near BFS it was in daylight... so that was hardly classified, yet its deleted? theres also another c-17 apparently coming in this afternoon in broad daylight, watch that get deleted even though anyone under the BFS flightpath will see it..

the BFS-MXP charter is being operated for topflight.ie i think

the 6th EZY 319 is coming in from LTN tonight (G-EZFO) and the 3rd EI 320 is coming in from DUB

My post regarding the Nimrod doing an NDB post was also removed. Would a mod care to assist?

well since there seems to have been a rule change in the other forum to discuss an airport, ill post the following here:

C-17 was parked on stand 26/27 handled by Servisair.., left shortly after 1030 (i think, memory is crap today), used 25 and was impressive to see taking off.. attracted a lot of attention from staff and passengers

the EI plane that was supposed to come in from DUB went tech, so im guessing thats why one came from SNN instead

The Qatar Emiri Air Force operates two Boeing C-17s. Boeing delivered Qatar's first C-17 on August 11, 2009 and the second on September 10, 2009

Did not take them too long to find Belfast Int'l !!

Well ill post this here to be safe

Disruption at bfs last night was caused by a low cloud base, high winds/snow and the active was 07. To top it off 17/35 wasnt treated and the constant power outages

No flights apart from a few props landed between 1830-2100, a bmi made it in round 2100.

Some flights went to lpl or dub, some base aircraft never made it back until early next morning, which has had a knock on effect for today
