Japan Air Force 747 @ LHR, 6/03/2010

Hey guys,

Was spotting @ LHR today when I saw a Japanese Air Force 747. Does anyone know why it was @ LHR?

Also, as I don't have access to an SDS Radar box thingy, what was the reg of the Air Canada a/c that t/o from 09R at 14:07 pm?

And what was the reg of the BA 744 that t/o at 14:08?

There were two Japanese military 747s at Heathrow. They are usually concerned with diplomatic visits.

Oooo, that's cheating.

(A friend of mine used to work at KLM Cargo at LHR and they would occasionally get folks calling to ask similar questions; "What was the reg of the KLM aircraft that just landed/departed". They would take them to task and refuse to tell then saying that obtaining the reg by not actually seeing the aircraft was cheating)
