Aer Lingus to Orlando

Irish Times to-day reported that an EI airbus 300 was forced to return to Dublin whilst enroute to Orlando yesterday - report says exact nature of the 'emergency' (irish times words) unknown.
Has anybody got further info ?

The only info I've got is that it's probably an A330

Either they didn't know, or they wanted people to think it was a matter of life or death, plummeting to the ocean, narrowly missing the schools etc on the way down.

To be honest, the way the media ridiculously and needlessly hype up the most minor of events in the aviation industry, it's not paying much attention to. 9 times out of 10 its something abnormal, but not serious
