A bunch of folks would be facing charges for attempted manslaughter

Loved a TV news statement that said a part of the landing gear fell in the parking lot. How do I get a job as a "aviation expert for the news stations"... Really anyone hiring? I have a great job now but if you are willing to pay me more to keep you from sounding like the dumb asses that are currently employed by you I would be happy to help!!

Canoe fairings
can be a bit fiddly to refit after they've been removed and it might not be as obvious as you'd think to spot when they've not been properly secured.
Boeing has SBs for the fairing attachment to the end of the flap track, fitting corrosion and bolt failure...
Very lucky this monster canoe didn't wrap round the stabiliser leading edge.
For info aircraft can be flown with movable fairing removed and a fuel performance penalty applied.
