Air France and EL-AL (No danger? No chance! ))
An El-Al passenger jet bound for New York nearly collided with an Air France airliner over the skies of Belgrade on Monday, Channel 2 revealed on Tuesday evening.

According to the report, the Serbian air controller erroneously instructed the Air France airplane to fly on a route already used by the El Al plane, thus putting the jets on a collision course.
The two planes were about to crash in midair, but emergency alarms alerted both pilots and the El-Al plane changed course at the last moment, when the distance between the aircraft was only 300 meters.
Serbian authorities reportedly claimed that the Serbian air controller was responsible for the incident and aviation authorities there launched an investigation into the near-accident.
According to the report, El Al commended the Israeli pilot, stressing that at no point during the incidents were the passengers, crew or airplane in danger.

Bull sh.
Belgrade' atco gave an instruction:
-Descent to FL 350 for AF
-El AL was steady at FL 340
-AF after reaching FL 350 continued to descent, and ATCO reacted at 348,which is before TCAS,and at the exact point where he/she must do it,because 349 is still 350 Actually even 348 is still considered as 350 .347 is leaved 350,and than you may speak about separation lost. So atco reacted just on time.
So before posting and blaming someone, ask or wait for officiall report.

It's really sad how quickly you people attribute the blame.
It is the ATCO who actually warned Air France pilots before RA, but they were "relaxed" and didn't stop descent in time to prevent TCAS RA.
I believe an apology is due
