Someone once asked me, Has there ever been an incident where an aircraft has been struck by a Firework?

Since there is various events around such as New Year/Guy Fawkes Day/ Diwali/ July 4th Inderpendence/etc...

Thanks for that, Quite Suprised to hear that an Aircraft a 8,00ft was hit, the highest I heard for a Firework or a Domestic rocket to go was 3,500ft.
