I was waiting for that! I gathered that much learjet50 However, I very much doubt they have the range to fly from Iceland to Iraq. I was of course seeking their next port of call after Keflavik.

There is a reference to these aircraft in todays Times, page 43.

The three aircraft are all tied up with legal wranglings going back to when Iraq invaded Kuwait and 'relieved' Kuwait Airways of their fleet.

Does this mean that the remaining 6 aircraft will now be delivered to Iraqi Airways?

I thought that the aircraft were going to be stored until the Supreme Court of Canada ruled on the merits of Kuwait Airways Corporation v. Republic of Iraq, et al.

Great news that these 3 planes can join the single aircraft that was delivered over a year ago!

Mate, just so you know this: Iraq has some of the best pilots in the world scattered all over the world and some of them r grounded @ home. They don't need foreigners to fly planes for them, unlike the gulf countries. just dig a bit into iraqi airways history, you'll discover that it's the oldest in ME region 1946.

Have Iraqi AW update their colour scheme since the 80's? The full colour scheme would look rather nice on a CRJ900
