Cant say many things outside of the human form tends to make me go moist but Concorde did it, as did the A330 and now the 787!!!!

Just wondering what the plane is towing behind it from what appears to be the top of the tail. As the plane is taking off, I first thought it was a bug in front of the camera, but then saw it again in one of the in-flight shots. Small black spot a short distance behind the top of the tail. Some kind of instrument?

....and ANA has swapped its 787-3 orders to 787-8s. Boeing might now drop the 787-3 model altogether.
