Any ATC documentaries?

Thought this would be the best place for my question... There are 1000000000000's youtube videos of aviation based material, and I've searched for a decent doc. about ATC but no result.

Are there any out there?

Regards

There was a film called "Red One to London" about a flight from Amsterdam to Heathrow. Also Discovery did a series of short scheduled flights.

Cripes Chiglet also - I worked on Red One to London.
Humped a very large camera up the tower at LHR.
It was made in1972 and shown in 1973.

The 45-minute Doc focuses on LGA, EWR, and JFK ATCTs, N90 (NY TRACON), and the Avianca 052 crash. Over 10 years old.

How do they Do that?

Their was a TV program on Channel 5 a few months back called How do they Do that?
In one of the Episodes they had a quick peak at Hong Kongs ATC Centre following a Cathay Pacific A330 from cruise all the way into HKG, showing all the different controllers that the plane is passed onto.
It was all shorterned down in to a ten minute clip, but gave you an insight with good naration.

There was another late 70s/early 80s focusing on an Airprox between a Brymon Totter and a Heathrow departure in the vicinity of WOD; it include a priceless remark by a retired LATCC controller (name withheld) about the LATCC Computer system 'the only other one I know of is in the Kensington Science Museum and that's where this one should be too'!!

NATS did a very good documentary about London control a few years ago.

I should contact them for a copy.

I recall BBC Scotland produced a programme many years ago which featured a flight from Iceland and a Loganair domestic flight and the objective of the programme was, I think, to show how the Controller who dealt with these flights which were in the sector at the same time, never actually met the persons with whom he was communicating, but procedures existed which were adhered to by all concerned.

The programme was made many years ago , perhaps the late seventies, and the title was something like " The Sky Above, the Earth Below".I expect it was broadcst only in Scotland.
