4 prop engines low over West Grinstead
4 engine green camouflaged turboprop?/piston near West Grinstead [Sussex] on Thursday 26th Nov. West Grinstead is 26 miles West of the Easterly one. Engines left a slightly dirty trail.
Could have been heading for Dunsfold....... Anyone seen a non Hercules [thin fuselage] type floating about that area? Russian maybe?
The person who saw this machine is a non aviation type but her father had a farm strip with a Redwing, plus others on it for years, also in Sussex. She estimated the height as it passed over at around 300 feet [ low!] and she said it had no passenger windows that she could see.
Be grateful for a clue........
Thanks in advance

Obviously it wouldn't be at 300ft ...but
Evening 1138,
AAL L188 Electra heading for STN? Camo green underbelly, no windows.
Second thoughts, there would have been more dirt than that, unless all four had quit!
